At last, I have arrived here, but I never dreamt I’d reach this level when I first stepped into the world of ikebana. It has taken me 30 years to get here, and looking back, every step of the journey has been meaningful.

Attending this ceremony was a great honour. It brought back memories of my very first ikebana lesson with my first teacher.

She was a truly elegant lady, and I admired her greatly.

At that time, I was like a sponge, absorbing everything I could and eager to learn as much as possible from her.

Wearing a vivid blue kimono, a gift from my current eacher, made the day even more special.

Living in London for 15 years may have been a detour on my journey to reach this point. However, at the same time, my ikebana activities there helped me grow tremendously.
