The Ikebana New Year gathering was held recently at a hotel in Kyoto.
I attended wearing a kimono, and that alone lifted my spirits and made the day feel special.
We also enjoyed a performance by a maiko, which made the occasion very elegant and memorable.
I’m looking forward to enjoying ikebana again this year and for many years ahead!
