As the third head of the Ohara School, Mr. Houn Ohara, once said, ‘Arrange Ikebana with your feet.’

I try to follow this advice every day by pausing to appreciate the beauty of nature.

Kyoto is a city that charms people in every season. Living here is a true blessing, and I’m deeply grateful to my parents for giving me this opportunity.

Even the tree-lined street near my home has transformed completely.

For about ten days each year, visitors come to admire the stunning autumn colors, sometimes causing traffic jams!

But I have the joy of enjoying this beauty during my morning jog—it’s simply magical.
